The midsummer heat is causing problems for many people in companies. Not so for the Gammel Engineering team at the headquarters in Abensberg. We implemented our energy concept more than 25 years ago. The first office building we know of with component cooling (industrial underfloor heating pipes in the exposed concrete ceiling for cooling and temperature control) reliably ensures pleasant temperatures in the offices and meeting rooms. And cooling is provided by groundwater from our well, which is used all year round to flush toilets and irrigate our park after absorbing heat.
