150 years of the Kelheim Liberation Hall: Gammel Engineering supports concert event
The highlight of the anniversary year is the festival week from October 13 to 20. Gammel Engineering is sponsoring the opening concert: The Vokal Ensemble München will perform the program "Immortal" on 13 October at 5 p.m. in the Befreiungshalle. "Art and culture are very close to my wife's and my heart," explains the Managing Director of Gammel Engineering. "We are delighted to be able to support this fantastic concert in the Befreiungshalle. It will be a unique experience!"
The Vokal Ensemble München, under the direction of Martin Zöbeley, has thoughtfully captured the context of the construction of the Befreiungshalle in its choice of program. Liberation and freedom are the central concepts. The Liberation Hall is a monument to peace: today it stands for the process of European unification. Under the motto "Immortal", a requiem in Gregorian chant will be performed in combination with choral music from Germany's neighboring countries. The anniversary concert commemorates the dead of the wars but also the foundations of European unity.
The Vokal Ensemble München was founded in 1992 and consists of 25 vocally trained singers aged between 25 and 50. The repertoire covers all periods of music history from the Middle Ages to the present day, with a focus on music from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries.

Handover of donations from our Christmas fundraising campaign
Having already reported on the results of our Christmas donation campaign, we are now delighted that all three donations have now been handed over in person.
It was particularly important to us not only to hand over the donations symbolically, but also to visit the facilities on site and gain an insight into their valuable work.
The Friends of Cabrini House was founded over 10 years ago and sees itself as a community of people who want to support the children, young people and adult residents of Cabrini House.
