The unspeakable discussion about charging energy-intensive companies with the EEG levy and the surcharge on locally generated CHP electricity is preventing investments in highly efficient energy systems.
Handelsblatt reports in its morning briefing that at yesterday's SPD board meeting under the leadership of Economics Minister Sigmar Gabriel, it was decided to shelve the idea of an eco-surcharge for self-produced electricity.
The Fördergesellschaft Erneuerbare Energien e.V. (FEE) has drawn up a statement on the further treatment of decentralized energy systems with wood gasifiers.
