Abensberg - Berufsbildungswerk: A day full of pride, joy and applause: 89 graduates celebrated their successful completion of training last week - a milestone on the way to a self-determined life. More than half of them have already secured an employment contract or a place at university.

Last Friday at Gammel Engineering, the focus was on steam and condensate technology - still a key medium in high-temperature energy transfer. In an intensive in-house training course, Jennifer Neumann from GESTRA provided the theoretical foundation, while André Stucke made the practical transfer possible directly on site with the mobile test bench.

When help is needed, the Red Cross is there! Gammel Family Social Fund supports BRK emergency services after fire in Abensberg. Whether it's a medical emergency, accident or major damage - the Bavarian Red Cross is always there when people need help. One example of this was the fire in a combined heat and power plant in Baiern near Abensberg on Sunday, March 9, 2025: three people injured, high property damage - and 55 BRK helpers who were deployed quickly and professionally.
The weekend before last, our junior boss Mike had the wonderful opportunity to hand over a donation of €900 to his friend Thomas Bauer. After a serious accident that left him paraplegic from the 6th cervical vertebra onwards, Thomas's freedom of movement was severely restricted.
Saturday was the day for 12 of our colleagues: Out of the office and into the cockpit! At the ADAC car intensive training course in Regensburg Rosenhof, everything revolved around driving dynamics, reaction speed - and safe handling in extreme situations.
