This year, we decided to try something new. Instead of distributing the proceeds directly at the beginning of the year, we have set up the Gammel Family Social Fund. The aim of this fund is to help people in need in our area quickly and unbureaucratically throughout the year.
Our initial budget: The auction proceeds of €4,200, which were increased to €10,000 by the company management.How it works: At the January staff meeting, we jointly decided on the framework conditions. The use of the budget is contributed by employees throughout the year and decided by the team. Transparency and openness are a matter of course for us - and are also at the heart of this project.
We are delighted to be starting 2025 with this social project. The aim is to make the Gammel Family Social Fund a permanent institution and to equip it accordingly. We were able to celebrate a special anniversary today: February 15 marked the 20th anniversary of Anita Ebenslander joining Gammel Engineering. Two decades that stand for commitment, precision and exceptional reliability.
Having already reported on the results of our Christmas donation campaign, we are now delighted that all three donations have now been handed over in person. It was particularly important to us not only to hand over the donations symbolically, but also to visit the facilities on site and gain an insight into their valuable work.
The Friends of Cabrini House was founded over 10 years ago and sees itself as a community of people who want to support the children, young people and adult residents of Cabrini House.
