Abensberg residents donate ambulance for Cicevac hospital
Zoran Bisevac is known in Abensberg as a restaurateur, but he originally comes from Cicevac, a town in Serbia. There is a hospital there, but no modern ambulance. Cicevac is located on a transit route and also has a main road that runs through the center of the town - more than 10,000 people pass through the town every day!
Many accidents happen here - but safe transportation of the injured is not guaranteed, as there is no large and functional ambulance. That's why a new ambulance is urgently needed to improve the care situation in Cicevac.
Through a charity dinner and donations, Zoran was able to raise enough money to finance an ambulance for his home town. Gammel Engineering was one of the main sponsors for this good project and Managing Director Michael Gammel, who is also a private friend of Zoran, is particularly pleased with this success.
Our pictures show the hospital's current ambulance and the new Sanka, which is already in use in Cicevac.
