Bidirectional charging: A crucial key to the energy transition

What does this mean? Bidirectional charging enables electric cars not only to charge up with electricity, but also to feed it back into the grid or to consumers when it is needed. They could therefore serve as flexible energy storage systems and relieve the strain on our electricity grids - especially with the increasing use of photovoltaics and electromobility.

This technology offers enormous potential to drive forward the energy transition and stabilize our power grids. But in order to fully exploit this, clear rules are needed for car owners and grid operators.

Let's hope for clear framework conditions from politicians - investment security for companies and private individuals will boost the energy transition!
