Energy expert: New chairman of the IHK committee Michael Gammel wants to promote decentralized supply

This makes the 53-year-old the right man at a time when the energy transition has become a key issue in politics and business. Gammel is a typical example of a self-made man. He did not start his company 26 years ago in a garage, but with his wife Gudrun "at the living room table", as he likes to say. Like many self-employed people, he has fulfilled a lifelong dream.
