A good 12 years after the initial commissioning, our team was able to provide planning services for the integration of a buffer storage tank for our regular customer Stadtwerke Kelheim.

Gammel Engineering is very pleased that we were able to plan the building technology for this flagship project with passion and, of course, about the successful transformation of the grammar school in Neustadt an der Waldnaab.

The WTAZ consortium starts the implementation phase for the hydrogen technology user center in Pfeffenhausen (WTAZ / ITZ SÜD) - funding for the ITZ has been secured and talks with investors have begun. Our team is a planning partner of MRPlan and proud to be part of the H2 lighthouse project.

At the end of September 2023, after a long planning phase, the ground was broken for the new building and modernization of the St. Martin Social Paediatric Centre and the Interdisciplinary Early Intervention Centre of the Catholic Youth Welfare Service Regensburg. We are delighted that this represents another very important step towards creating a modern treatment and advice center for children with developmental problems and disabilities and their families for the entire East Bavarian region in Regensburg. After the ground-breaking ceremony in October 2021, the inauguration of the respiratory protection center in Neustadt an der Donau was celebrated with all those involved and, above all, the district of Kelheim. The breathing apparatus center in Neustadt an der Donau fulfills two important functions for the fire departments in the district of Kelheim: Firstly, all breathing apparatus and the associated equipment from the entire district are cleaned, checked and serviced there after operations and exercises so that they can be safely used again afterwards.

On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, the first "Green Hydrogen from Bavaria" trailer was ceremoniously welcomed in Pfeffenhausen with around 120 people in attendance. The assembly of the electrolyzer system technology began at the same time. Mayor Florian Hölzl, District Administrator Peter Dreier (District of Landshut) and District Administrator Christoph Göbel (District of Munich) were keen to thank everyone involved, but also to get the team around Project Manager Dr. Tobias Brunner ready for the final spurt.

Fifteen years ago, the construction of the biomass cogeneration plant and district heating for the city of Cham still had to overcome considerable reservations and resistance from the population. Today, everyone has realized and, of course, knows that district heating is the best possible solution for decarbonization in the heating sector and in power generation.

The canteen at Abensberg primary and secondary school was inaugurated on Wednesday with music, good wishes and God's blessing. Gammel Engineering with project manager veteran Frank Ulbrich handled the technical building services planning for the difficult construction in existing buildings and during ongoing school operations with joy and great commitment. It is always a pleasure when a project is successfully completed in our home town. If this project serves the well-being of our children and families, so much the better!

Together with specialist companies, employees from the waterworks and the Abensberg municipal utility company lifted a 28-tonne pellet store in Stadionstraße over the TSV gymnasium and placed it next to the existing heating center with local heating network. The heating center also received a new pellet boiler. The new module is now attached directly next to it. The Gammel Engineering team planned the existing system and now also the extension. We would like to thank our client for their trust and all those involved for their excellent cooperation. Another important measure for the energy transition in our home town of Abensberg.

DIBAG is building a new logistics and production hall with 20,000 m² of floor space in Allershausen at Eggenberger Feld. The concrete pillars are rising rapidly and construction is progressing.

The New Year's Eve powder vapor has been blown away by the wind and the discussion about the sense and nonsense of fireworks and firecrackers has once again been sat out by those responsible. Despite heavy media coverage, there has been no sustained reaction. The same game awaits us again at the end of the year. This means that now is the right time to take a critical look at the issue of emissions.
