News in Every Project

For BMW AG in Dingolfing, our project development team has developed an innovative concept for the long-term storage of heat from the combined heat, power and cooling system. This project is now being implemented. Gammel Engineering is involved in the realization!

Arcobräu in Moos, Lower Bavaria, has been brewing beer since 1567 - and has been doing so for several weeks now with a newly designed energy system. This is where Gammel Engineering realized its "Kombi Power System" concept, which uses wood gasification to provide electricity and heat for the brewery and the town center. The wood courier reports!

The Verband deutscher Biomasseheizwerke e.V. and CARMEN e.V. invited operators of biomass heating plants and combined heat and power plants to a get-together on July 26, 2013. Also present: Klaus Röhrmoser and Christan Meier from Gammel Engineering. Klaus Röhrmoser spoke about the paradigm shift in decentralized wood energy systems: Highly efficient generation of power, heat and cooling with the Kombi Power System. Christian Meier presented the wood gasifier project at Arcobräu in Moos - operating experience with the Kombi Power System.

Vorsprung durch Technik is the motto at Audi. Audi is building the Audi Driving Experience Center to experience this lead at first hand. To ensure that the technical building equipment (TGA) also lives up to the motto, special emphasis was placed on comprehensive consultation in advance. Within the group of companies, Gammel Engineering took on a leading role for the MEP planning and was commissioned as the general planner for the MEP.

The Kombi Power System at the Arco brewery produces steam! Steam is a crucial part of a brewery's production process and is required in many production steps. For example, the brewery uses steam to generate the heat required to brew beer and heat the brewing kettle, among other things.

TVA Ostbayern reports on Abensberg as a business location in the Schaufenster Ostbayern. Gammel Engineering should not be missing! (From 02:20 min.)

Michael Gammel, owner of Gammel Engineering, was elected Chairman at the constituent meeting of the newly elected IHK committee for the district of Kelheim. He succeeds Wolfgang Engelhardt, who has moved to Ulm for professional reasons.

The German BioEnergy Association (BBE) is publishing a brochure on the subject of bioenergy: electricity, heat and fuels from biomass are urgently needed as part of the energy transition. This brochure explains the most important renewable sources and takes a look into the future.

The German mechanical and plant engineering industry sees great opportunities for the development and sale of new technologies in the energy transition. To ensure the success of the energy transition, companies are calling for a long-term political framework. This is shown by the VDMA's first energy transition barometer.

"With this plant, we have achieved a quantum leap in the utilization of biomass," said Michael Gammel. The head of the development company was referring to the generation of electricity from wood chips at the north-east entrance to Hersbruck within the walls of Naturenergie. At a celebration, Mayor Robert Ilg congratulated the company on the successful "wood path".

The waste heat steam boiler at Arcobräu has been generating ''wood steam'' since this week. In the first stage of power generation, the steam is produced using hot air from the hot gas turbine. This is then primarily used as process steam for brewery operations.

The Bischofshof Brewery is publishing a special edition of the Freundschaftsecho to mark the inauguration of the Bischofshof Arbeitswelt.
