Award ceremony for the 2018 World Cup Prediction Game
Before we turned our attention to the sumptuous Bavarian dishes, the winners were honored in a festive awards ceremony.
A total of 24 employees took part in this year's competition. Only five out of the 24 participants predicted a win for France. 23 out of 24 confidently predicted Germany as the group winner, but their hopes were dashed and Sweden won the group. In contrast, everyone correctly predicted Brazil as the group winner.
Our beaming winner was Anita Frank with 132 points. Anita prevailed over her male colleagues from match day 1 to the end. She was also the only one to answer the question of who scored the most goals during the World Cup correctly with the answer "England". Congratulations!
Second place went to Adrian Neunzert with 130 points and third place to our colleague Frank Ulbrich with 129 points.
The three winners will be able to watch the FCB Munich v Manchester United soccer match at the Allianz Arena on Sunday, August 5, 2018. Have fun with it!
The bottom three were all tied on 92 points and received a small consolation prize.
Many thanks to all participants, we are already looking forward to the next prediction game!

Handover of donations from our Christmas fundraising campaign
Having already reported on the results of our Christmas donation campaign, we are now delighted that all three donations have now been handed over in person.
It was particularly important to us not only to hand over the donations symbolically, but also to visit the facilities on site and gain an insight into their valuable work.
