The defense took place yesterday on the premises of the FAU, Friedrich-Alexander University in Nuremberg. Topic of the doctorate: "Biomass gasification in "stratified downdraft" reactors and their process stabilization"
....once upon a time, a long, long time ago. A young Steffi enthusiastically came up with the glorious idea of adding two extra letters to her name.
So she set off ... on a long, long journey, as it turned out later. She hiked over hill and dale. Some of the mountains were much higher and some of the valleys much deeper than they first appeared. There were also mountains that had not even been mapped....
Her partner Markus experienced this story first-hand and captured it in many photos in a presentation - chapeau to this achievement and this iron will!
