So tell me, Mr. Gammel, why did you start your own business? You could have had a "quiet and tranquil" life as an employee?
Performance and work are fundamental parts of my life: for me, commitment is crucial both at work and in my circle of friends and social life. I am happy to take on responsibility, shape the future and play my part in society.
Professionally, however, I don't see much difference between being an employed manager and being the owner - the demands are comparable. It's a question of inner attitude, how I fulfill my position and what expectations I have of myself.
What drives you - what is your motivation?
The pursuit of the best solutions, of perfectionism! There is no mediocrity at Gammel Engineering.
My main source of motivation, however, is my team, in which each individual delivers their best professional performance and with whom I go through thick and thin: Through shared successes, but also through setbacks - this cohesion is an irreplaceable incentive.
