Gammel Engineering attaches great importance to offering its employees the opportunity to take part in various health checks

This time, we organized an in-house carotid screening in collaboration with the Barmer health insurance company.

A specialist, who was engaged by the Barmer health insurance company, carried out a so-called carotid screening in our company on 11.03.2022. He used an ultrasound device to examine the participants' carotid arteries in order to determine whether there were any deposits that could impair circulation.

At the end, each participant was informed in detail about cardiovascular diseases and received a personal prognosis and options for improving their individual quality of life.
