Arco Clean Energy GmbH is further expanding the district heating network in Moos. In addition to supplying the brewery with all the necessary energy levels, the Kombi Power System also supplies heat to properties belonging to Gräfliches Haus Arco, municipal buildings and private households.
The Befreiungshalle in Kelheim is 150 years old and this is of course being celebrated in style. "As a company that is rooted in the region, we are delighted to be involved in this fantastic event," says Michael Gammel, Managing Director of Gammel Engineering.
At the site of Kalkwerk Rygol GmbH & Co. KG in Painten, two micro gas turbines are being installed to support the operation of the drum dryer. The exhaust gases from the gas turbines are used directly in a drying process. The hot gas generator was redesigned, constructed and commissioned for production in order to be able to optimally feed the flue gases into the process. In addition, the plant's gas connection was renewed and adapted to the required pressure of the gas turbines so that the gas compressor for the gas turbines could be dispensed with. Christian Blendl, project manager at Gammel Engineering, reports on the project.
BMW AG is expanding the aluminum foundry facilities at the Landshut site. Depending on the operating conditions, around 2.0 to 4.0 MW<sub>th</sub> of waste heat is generated from the melting furnaces. Gammel Engineering has developed an innovative waste heat utilization concept to combine the discontinuous power supply from the waste heat flow of the melting plants and generate electricity and process cooling from it.

Social commitment is very important to the Gammel company. One project that is particularly close to the hearts of the Gammel couple is the Cabrini-Haus Offenstetten in Abensberg. The facility looks after children, young people and adults who need special care. The Gammels founded the Cabrini-Haus Circle of Friends and actively support the facility.
