Handelsblatt reports in its morning briefing that at yesterday's SPD board meeting under the leadership of Economics Minister Sigmar Gabriel, it was decided to shelve the idea of an eco-surcharge for self-produced electricity.

The district heating feed-in of geothermal energy in Traunreut was put into operation last week. Gammel Engineering has been involved in this important project since 2002.

The Fördergesellschaft Erneuerbare Energien e.V. (FEE) has drawn up a statement on the further treatment of decentralized energy systems with wood gasifiers. This statement is a synthesis of technical and political aspects and aims to make the best possible use of the political scope for action for the thermochemical gasification of solid biomass. The German Bioenergy Association (BBE) and the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE) were also involved.

On March 8, 2014, the Energy Wood Field Day took place at the Holmernhof in Bad Füssing. Gammel Engineering was also on site with a stand and provided information about the plant with Kombi Power System, which is currently being realized.

A survey conducted by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in the district reveals a number of suggestions for improvements that would be highly desirable for companies in the Kelheim district...

The renewable energy sector is particularly interesting for young people, as it offers a mixture of technology and business and is directly related to climate protection and the energy transition. Nevertheless, only just under a quarter of skilled workers in this sector are female. Our apprentice Sabrina made a conscious decision to become a technical system planner - in our interview, she reveals more about the reasons for her career choice and her experience at Gammel Engineering.

Through donations and charity events, Zoran Bisevac, a restaurateur in Abensberg, was able to raise enough money to finance a modern ambulance for his home town of Cicevac in Serbia. Gammel Engineering was the main sponsor for this campaign.
